The past few weeks have been busy! I have been slowly getting my booth put together at Restoration Emporium. I had to re-tag everything! I had a lot of sticker tags and I needed to redo them to include my vendor number. I literally spent an entire week, about 4 hours a day re-tagging everything. Then it was a matter of setting up all the big stuff and figuring out where I wanted everything and then filling in with smalls. My space is a lot smaller than my previous space, however, I am happy to have a smaller space. Its still a work in progress, but I think most antique booths are. I just need to figure out how to utilize wall space better and what can be hung from the ceiling as well.
I made these cute burlap totes with a shabby flower embellishment. They are large, like beach bag size, so they can fit a lot and are lined as well!!
For now I am trying my "build your own necklace" area, but I am not sure if I am going to stick with it at the booth. I may just have it for shows that I do outside of the booth. But no definite decision as of yet.
I also made these pillows using The Graphic Fairy images and image transfer sheets. I found a way to avoid having the ugly icky plastic left on the pillow and it gives them a sort of vintage-y faded look. I may do a tutorial if there is some interest in my process.
This Thursday Night there is a pre-sale shopping event, from 5 to 8. You can come and shop early before the crowds hit Friday morning. Its going to be a beautiful Spring weekend and its sure to be busy this weekend!! I will be in my booth most of the weekend, so be sure to stop by and say hello!!!
