Vintage Bridal Celebration @ Restoration Emporium

Tomorrow is the Vintage Bridal Celebration Show at Restoration Emporium.  I have a little booth showcasing my repurposed vintage jewelry and vintage spoon necklaces.  Of course I still using my favorite color - WHITE!!!

The great thing about a white palette is that everything goes with it.  I can use lace, rust, junky rusty metal and chippy white pieces along with sparkly jewels and everything looks pulled together and works well with each other.

I have already gotten quite a few comments on both my personal and biz Facebook page about the use of these funnels as a jewelry display.  They work great for both necklaces and bracelets and really show off the sparkle of rhinestones and beautiful freshwater pearls.

I wanted to different way to display my spoon necklaces instead of the metal pipe display I often use.  I found two of these rusty candle holders for $8!  All I did was screw off the top of the candle holder, add the top part of a lamp shade and screwed on a glass door knobs.  Instant jewelry display!  And since I already had everything else except the candle holders it cost me $8 to make 2 of them!

I finally started utilizing the handles of the spoons that I use for the spoon necklaces.  These are easily customizable and can be added to a chain with a few charms and you have an instant one of a kind necklace!

I have all my charms on this rotating pedestal.  Funnily enough, this used to be a three legged table, but one of my boys broke one of the legs off and so I removed the other two and added a Lazy Susan onto the bottom and it makes for a great display piece.  I can also see using it on a big old farm house table, maybe for taco night and putting all the different toppings on it and then all you have to do is rotate it to get what you want.

I am hoping to show shoppers that these DIY necklaces are perfect for bridesmaids or mother of the brides. Also a customized vintage spoon necklace or my vintage mother of pearl button necklaces would also be a great one of a kind gift.

I really hope you are able to come out and check out the Vintage Bridal Celebration.  All the dealers at Restoration Emporium have really out done themselves and the shop looks phenomenal!  There is going to be treats, a fashion show, wonderful vintage and vintage inspired ideas, and lots of great shopping.  Even if you aren't planning for a wedding, there are lots of great vintage finds and repurposed furniture to shop from as well.

The show is tomorrow, Sunday, February 17th from noon until 5 p.m.  I hope to see you there!!
