Making Some Changes - A Big Annoucement

I teased on my Facebook page that some big changes were in store for My So Called Junky Life.  I wanted to hold off on the big announcement until I was able to tell a few people and make the final arrangements, but that time has passed so I am ready to spill the beans.

As of April 5th, you will now be able to find my booth at Restoration Emporium!  March will be my last month at Bottoms Up Antique Market,  While I am sad that I am leaving Bottoms Up, I do think that I am making the right decision that is best for me and my business and my family.

I don't want to go into all the details, but ultimately it came down to my boys and what would work for me as a mom.  I have missed a lot of  wrestling tournaments this season because of needing to sit at my booth at Bottoms Up, and now being at Restoration Emporium I will be able to work my booth when I can, allowing me to have the flexibility to be able to be there with my boys.  My oldest in just one short year and a half away from high school and that mean football, wrestling, and track and field.  And my youngest wants to play little league baseball and pop-warner football this Summer and games are on Saturdays.  There will be times that my husband and I will need to "split the different" between the two of them so they can get to the games/events that they need to get to and having a more flexible schedule on Saturdays and Sundays will allow me to do that.

So March 1st and 2nd will be my last month at Bottoms Up, and while I am sad that I am leaving, I am also excited about the new adventure I will be starting.  I hope those of you who are local will be able to find me at Restoration Emporium. I will be on the first floor and will have all my beautiful white chippy junk and jewelry for sale there!

Sarah, Sounds like you have really thought this all through, and sounds like the change is a very positive move. I have never had a booth I bet it can be a lot of work. I am not sure I would be able to keep it looking fresh like you do. Congratulations~
