Today marked the fastest booth set up that I have ever done! I got everything put together in about 3 1/2 hours only to realize I forgot my camera so I had to use my cell phone camera instead to take these few pictures. Tomorrow I will be selling at the Old Summit Antique Show in Lee's Summit, MO. If you are in the local Kansas City area, try to stop by if you can.
Early.
The show runs from 9 to 4 and I am serious about coming early. All the good stuff is usually gone by noon! This show features a lot of primitive antiques, but there there are also a few dealers like me with a different kind of style. Of course there are lots of good deals to be found as the show wraps up so I guess it really doesn't matter when you come.
How stinkin' cute are these wire "cloches." I really have no clue what these are. My husband couldn't figure it out either. But when I saw these, I knew exactly how I would use/sell them as. They are perfectly rusted and I just L O V E these!!
I found this pair of garden statues and I snatched them right up! One of the guys mentioned that Saint Mary is standing on a snake, which I didn't notice and he went on to explain to me about the symbolism of Saint Mary standing on the snake and I ended up having a little theological/history lesson today.
Again another shot of these cool "cloches." If you have any idea what these really are for I would love to know!
If you are able to make to the show tomorrow, be sure to stop on by and say hello!
