Bottoms Up Antique Booth Pictures- April 2012

So its that time again!! Yep! Time for my monthly antique show at Bottoms Up in Kansas City!

This month I wasn't able to get as much shopping done or change up my booth too much because I came down with pneumonia and I have to tell you, it really took a lot out of me.  I have spent that last two weeks mostly at home coughing and doing little projects that I could inside on the floor in my bedroom.

I literally threw a drop cloth on the floor and did my projects while watching t.v, coughing, blowing my nose, and did I mention coughing?  I found the green bucket as is and had two unpainted buckets so I made homemade chalk paint, painted those two and added the numbers as well.  I think these would be cute on a porch or deck with flowers or maybe on top of a hutch for added storage.

These frames were fun to make.  My husband helped me cut the wood and then I put them together on my drop cloth in my room while, you guessed it - coughing the entire time!  These are made from reclaimed (old) wood and are super shabby and cute!

Last month I made some hearts out of old tin ceiling and they were a huge hit so I made more hearts and some birds as well.  This time I had white painted tin ceiling, but wanted a pop of color, so I painted them and distressed them up.  They are really quite cute and better in person as well.

I had some requests for what my jewelry set up looked like, so I set up late this evening to give everyone an idea what my jewelry display looks like.  I have a lot of new designs that I haven't shared here on my blog or on my Etsy.  But when you spend two weeks confined to your room, you do seem to get a lot of jewelry designing done.

I have some exciting news that I will be sharing in the next couple of weeks!  Have a wonderful weekend!!

What a great booth! I would buy it all if I could. Love the frames and the buckets especially. The glittered banner is sweet!

My first visit to your blog. Very nice pix of items in your booth. Enjoy connecting with people who are in antique shops and feature their treasurers in blogs. Look forward to more visits!

Hi Sarah,
Your space looks amazing in the photos and I know how gorgeous it looks in person too!! So many things to love!
Thanks for stopping by my blog....the chair in my garage photo....the one stripped down to the burlap.....I'm hanging on to it for awhile. My son is a photographer and the minute he saw it he wanted it for photo shoots. When he tires of it I'll let you know!
Hope you're feeling better!
